The standout of tonight's show for me are the Sam Corbin tunes. I stumbled across him when I was perusing the blog Songs:Illinois. He's a Michigan singer/songwriter and he sings some great heartfelt comforting music. Check him out here www.samcorbin.com

Caught on the In Between Playlist 09-13-09

I got into the honky tonk feeling at the end of the night. Wayne The Train Hancock is amazing and the bassist for the local heroes, Starline Rhythm Boys, used to play with him. I need to see the Starline Rhythm Boys play again soon. They have a bunch of shows over the next couple months, but one that sticks out is 10/24 for a Bike Recycle Vermont at Burlington City Hall! I'll be there!
